Cookie Policy

The cookies, storage and device identifiers Ntumai uses on the website and in the app — and how to control them.

Cookie Policy
Last updated: 22 September 2026

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. We also use similar technologies — browser local storage on the website, and device identifiers and software development kits inside the Ntumai mobile apps. This policy covers all of them, and should be read with our Privacy Policy.

2. Strictly necessary

These keep the service working and cannot be switched off: keeping you signed in, keeping your cart and checkout state, routing you to the right server, protecting against fraud and automated abuse, and remembering the cookie choice you made on this site. Without these the site cannot function, so they are set without asking for consent.

3. Analytics and performance

These help us understand which pages and features are used, where people get stuck, and which errors occur, so we can fix and improve them. The data is aggregated and used to measure and improve the product — it is not used to build advertising profiles. These are only set after you accept cookies on this site.

4. Functional

These remember choices you make so the experience feels consistent — for example your city or coverage area, recently viewed vendors, and interface preferences. Turning these off does not break the site, but you may have to re-enter preferences each visit.

5. Third parties

Some cookies and identifiers are set by services we rely on: our hosting and content delivery provider, our analytics provider, our payment providers during checkout, and embedded maps used to show office locations and delivery coverage. These providers process data under their own policies and under contract with us. We do not sell personal information.

6. How to control cookies

You can accept or reject non-essential cookies using the banner shown on your first visit, and change your mind at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser, which makes the banner appear again. Every major browser also lets you block or delete cookies in its settings. On mobile, you can reset or limit your advertising identifier in your device's privacy settings, and control app permissions such as location and notifications from the system settings.

7. Changes to this policy

We update this policy when the technologies we use change. The revised version is posted here with a new “Last updated” date. If the change materially affects how we use non-essential cookies, we will ask for your choice again.
