1. Acceptance of these terms
By creating an account, browsing, or otherwise using the Ntumai app, website or any related service (the “Services”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
2. Who can use Ntumai
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By using the Services you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement in your country of residence.
3. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for any activity that happens under your account. Notify us immediately at support@ntumai.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
4. Using the marketplace and services
Ntumai connects customers with independent vendors and taskers. We are a technology platform — we do not own, sell, resupply, store, prepare, or deliver the items provided by vendors and taskers. Quality, safety and legality of items and services are the responsibility of the vendor or tasker.
5. Pricing, payments and refunds
Prices, fees and applicable taxes are shown in the app before you confirm an order. Payments are processed through approved providers (mobile money, card or wallet). Refunds for cancelled or failed orders follow our Refund Policy and are issued to your original payment method.
6. Cancellations
You may cancel an order before a vendor or tasker has accepted it at no charge. After acceptance, a cancellation fee may apply to compensate the tasker or vendor for time and materials already committed.
7. User conduct
You agree not to misuse the Services. This includes (without limitation): harassing other users, posting unlawful content, attempting to defraud the platform, reverse engineering the app, or using automated tools to scrape data.
8. Vendors and taskers
If you sign up as a vendor or tasker you also agree to the additional partner terms presented during onboarding, including KYC verification, payout, conduct and quality standards.
9. Intellectual property
The Ntumai name, logo, app, software, and content are owned by Ntumai or its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Services for personal, non-commercial purposes.
10. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ntumai is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services. Our total liability for any claim is capped at the fees you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.
11. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms, attempt to defraud the platform, or put other users at risk. You may close your account at any time from the app settings.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect means you accept the revised terms.
13. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Zambia. Any dispute will first be addressed through good-faith negotiation, and failing that, by the competent courts of Lusaka, Zambia.
